Subject: INVITATION, Crusing Koolina (Oahu) to Maui and return.

May 3rd to May 9th , 2008

Aloha fellow sailors and those of you that want to be

I am planning a 1 week sailing cruise to Maui and back to Oahu in the first days of spring, with the following stops:

Saturday 5/3 leaving Ko’olina (Oahu) arriving Ala wai Harbor , Honolulu late afternoon.

Note: you must be on board Friday afternoon as we leave early.

Sunday 5/4  ( night or Morning sail ) Cross the Kaiwi channel to Haleolono Harbor West-Molokai

Monday 5/5 Sail to Lahaina, mooring in front of Lahaina Yacht Club,

Maybe a sunset sail with friends.

Tuesday 5/6  Mooring in front of Lahaina Yacht Club, maybe a day sail with friends.

Wednesday 5/7 Sail to Honolua bay and drop anchor for the day.

Thursday 5/8 Spend the day snorkeling at Honolua bay or sail back to West Molokai , depending on weather.

Friday 5/9 sail back to Ko’olina Harbor, an all day sail.

TOTAL NAUTICAL MILES TRAVELED 280-300

Note: plan to spend half of Saturday in the marina helping clean the boat.

If you are interested please read the attached requirements (read them well and understand before committing yourself as there are no exceptions)  if this is for you, then book ASAP to get your spot on the Boat, first in first served, and bunks are limited.  Dates are tentative and not confirmed until I get a commitment from all crew members.

In certain circumstances I will accept partial bookings, but please book now if interested as a trip requires a lot of planning, so the more time I get the better.

All sailing is based on weather and wind but generally we will start early in the morning, especially during channel crossings.

NOTE: the deposit can in certain circumstances be a check issued to me and not cashed unless you are a no show, in case you don’t have the finances to make the commitment.
